3. But I would have you know,
that the head of every man is Christ;
and the head of the woman is the man;
and the head of Christ is God.

4. Every man praying or prophesying,
having his head covered,
dishonoureth his head.
5. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth
with her head uncovered
dishonoureth her head:

20. Let every man abide in the same calling
wherein he was called.

        21. Art thou called being a servant?
        care not for it:
        but if thou mayest be made free,
        use it rather.

                22. For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant,
                is the Lord's freeman:
                likewise also he that is called, being free,
                is Christ's servant.

15. But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void.

16. For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

17. For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
