Hebrews 4:14-5:3

14. Having then a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast to the confession. 15. For we do not ahve a high priest who is not able to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tested in all things in likeness, yet without sin. 16. Let us approach then with boldness the throne of grace, so that  we may receive mercy and may find grace for timely help.

5:1. For every high priest from men

                                taken

on behalf of men is appointed in things regarding God,

so that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices on behalf of sins, 2. being able to deal patiently with those who are ignorant and wandering, since he himself is surrounded by weakness 3. and on account of this he is obligated, just as concerning the people, so also concerning himself, to offer concerning sins.
